Pope Francis Discharged from Hospital
Pope Francis has been discharged from the hospital, where he spent 10 days. The Pontiff was admitted to the hospital on July 4 for intestinal surgery, reports euronews.
The leader of the Catholic Church will only be able to embark on another trip after a recovery period of two months. A visit to Hungary and Slovakia is scheduled for September 12-15, and in November he will travel to Scotland to participate in a climate conference.
Despite his advanced age of 84, Pope Francis rarely seeks serious medical assistance.
