Human Rights Violations are Also a Boomerang: Tatoyan
It is an interesting situation when former employees of law enforcement agencies (investigators, prosecutors, etc.) encounter violations of human rights and injustices, and their reactions to these violations are often more severe. This is stated by Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan.
The violations in question occurred even when these individuals were working within those agencies, and some of them may have even been responsible for those violations themselves.
Responding to these violations is certainly positive, but all investigators, prosecutors, or operational officers should remember this recurring chain: after leaving their service or the system, they themselves will confront the same violations that are currently being allowed under their watch.
Thus, with all due respect and an assumption of good faith towards our colleagues who are current or former employees of law enforcement agencies, it should not be forgotten that human rights violations are also a boomerang.
