Earthquake in the Georgia-Armenia Border Area

On July 14 at 11:04 AM local time (07:04 AM GMT), the seismic monitoring network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia registered an earthquake at geographical coordinates of 41.18° N latitude and 43.90° E longitude, located 10 kilometers northeast of the village of Bavra in the Shirak Province, with a depth of 10 kilometers and a magnitude of 3.1. This information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone was measured at 4 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra in Shirak Province and Paghamber in Lori Province, with a reported intensity of 3.
