Armenia Included in the 'Green List'

Armenia has been included in the 'Green List' of Abu Dhabi. This information is provided by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Armenia.

Being on the 'Green List' means that travelers from Armenia heading to Abu Dhabi will no longer have to undergo mandatory quarantine and will only need to take a PCR test upon arrival at Abu Dhabi airport.

The announcement does not specify whether this simplified regime applies only to the city of Abu Dhabi or to the entire Emirates.

As noted by The National News, one of the largest print publications in the Emirates, vaccinated citizens are exempt from the test upon arrival but must take it every week while in Abu Dhabi.

The publication also clarifies that this simplified regime applies not to citizens but to residents of Armenia (this regulation does not apply to Armenian citizens who permanently reside in other countries).
