Vagharshak Harutyunyan Meets with Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, General Sergey Istrakov

On July 13, the Acting Minister of Defense of Armenia, Vagharshak Harutyunyan, met with a delegation led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, General Sergey Istrakov. The delegation arrived in Armenia to participate in the next round of bilateral military cooperation discussions between Armenia and Russia.

The Ministry of Defense reports that the Deputy Chief of the General Staff provided Vagharshak Harutyunyan with information regarding upcoming work directions and volumes, as well as outlining issues for bilateral cooperation and discussion. During the meeting, the head of the Armenian defense department emphasized the importance of specific issues that hold greater significance for the Armenian side.
