City Council Member Resigns; Mandate Passed to Next Candidate from 'My Step' Alliance

Sureni Ohanyan, a representative of the 'My Step' alliance and a member of the Yerevan City Council, has submitted a resignation letter regarding his council powers. This information was announced at an extraordinary session of the Yerevan City Council by Deputy Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan.

According to the Central Election Commission's record No. 35 from July 8, 2021, Sureni Ohanyan, elected from the 'My Step' list and who has prematurely terminated his powers, has had his mandate assigned to the next candidate on the electoral list, Diana Kerobian, from the 'My Step' alliance,” Sargsyan stated.
