30-Year-Old Kyaramyan Holds Over 10 Positions in 8 Years
On July 12, 2021, Arghishti Kyaramyan was appointed as the head of the Investigative Committee after being relieved of his position as deputy head of the Committee.
The 30-year-old Kyaramyan started his career in 2013 and has since held over 10 positions. Below is a summary of his professional biography.
From 2013 to 2014, he served in the Police of the Republic of Armenia, then worked in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee as an investigator.
From June 1, 2016, to June 6, 2018, he worked at the Prosecutor's Office of Armenia, initially as the prosecutor of the Shirak region, and then as the prosecutor of Yerevan.
From June 8, 2018, to February 26, 2019, he was part of the State Revenue Committee, holding positions as the head of the Department for Detection of Violations and Administrative Proceedings, head of the Investigative Department, and deputy head of the Investigation and Operational Intelligence Department.
From March 1, 2019, to May 4, 2020, he worked at the State Supervision Service as an assistant to the head, deputy head, and acting head of the service.
On May 4, 2020, he was appointed as the deputy chairman of the Investigative Committee by the decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
On May 5, 2020, he was appointed deputy director of the National Security Service of Armenia by a decree of the President of the Republic.
On June 8, 2020, he was appointed director of the National Security Service of Armenia by a presidential decree.
On December 24, 2020, he was appointed as the deputy head of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
