Unregistered food vending trailers are actively being dismantled in these days. With the efforts of the community, 30 have already been removed, and 10 mobile points have been dismantled using the operators' resources. This year's plan for replacing elevators in the Yerevan municipality is being organized in such a way that the new elevators primarily serve those heroic soldiers who have been injured in the defense of the homeland, somewhat alleviating their burdens. For this purpose, necessary data has been analyzed, and 54 high-rise buildings have been selected where servicemen with mobility impairments reside. The purchase of accessible elevators has already taken place, and the measurement works are currently underway.
In order to ensure public order and traffic safety, enhanced oversight has been established over the work of drivers of minivans and buses servicing public transport in the capital. The relevant divisions of the municipality are particularly meticulous about the operation of new buses. They have been instructed to respond quickly to citizen complaints and eliminate instances of drivers smoking and talking on the phone while driving.
Addressing the issue of outdoor illegal trade, Mayor Hayk Makuzyan instructed the heads of administrative districts to strengthen oversight through daily inspections in the areas and take steps to eliminate the phenomenon.
