Explosion in a Chat Room in Hrazdan City: Doctors Fight for the Life of a 42-Year-Old Man

On July 11, an emergency incident occurred in the Kotayk region. At approximately 19:40, the Hrazdan police received a report from the Hrazdan Medical Center about a citizen who had been admitted with "combined injuries to both lower limbs from an explosive device, shrapnel wounds, a head contusion, and closed cranio-cerebral injury."

According to shamshyan.com, Kotayk police chief Artur Zohrabyan and Hrazdan police chief Artak Ghazaryan proceeded to the hospital. The doctors informed the police that the injured party was unable to provide an explanation about the incident.

While the medical staff struggled to save his life, the police quickly identified the victim as 42-year-old Lev Asryan, a resident of Hrazdan. Subsequently, through operational measures, police investigators established that on the same day at approximately 19:10, he had been transported to the hospital from a booth located in the yard of Building 33 in the Central district of Hrazdan, where he had detonated a grenade while alone, resulting in his injuries.
