Armenian Genocide Recognition Bill Introduced in UK Parliament
A resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide has been introduced in the UK Parliament. The bill was initiated by John Spellar, a member of the Labour Party, as reported on the Facebook page of the Armenian National Committee of the UK.
The bill is set for its second reading in the House of Commons on December 10, 2021.
The Armenian National Committee of the UK welcomed the initiative, noting that it would help rectify the injustice of 106 years of denial of the Armenian Genocide.
