Argishti Kyaramyan Appointed Head of the Investigative Committee
The government has made a decision to appoint Argishti Kyaramyan as the head of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
"Guided by Article 20(1) of the Law on the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the Government of the Republic of Armenia decides: 1. To appoint Argishti Kyaramyan as the head of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia," the government decision states.
It is important to note that today, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decision to relieve Argishti Kyaramyan from the position of Deputy Head of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
"Guided by Article 20(5) and Article 22(1)(2) of the Law on the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Argishti Kyaramyan is relieved of his duties as Deputy Head of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia," the decision reads.
