UFC 264: McGregor Suffers Foot Injury, Victory Awarded to Poirier

In the main event of UFC 264 held in Las Vegas, former champion Conor McGregor faced American lightweight Dustin Poirier. Late in the first round, the Irish fighter suffered a broken left foot (in the ankle area) after an unsuccessful backward step.

The fight was halted, and the victory was awarded to Poirier by technical knockout. McGregor's total purse will amount to 10 million euros, while Poirier's will be 3 million.
