President of Armenia Will Not Appear as a Witness in Constitutional Court; Hrayr Tovmasyan's Motion Rejected Again
The Constitutional Court has rejected for a second time the new motion submitted by Hrayr Tovmasyan, which proposed to summon the President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, as a witness.
This was announced by the President of the Constitutional Court, Arman Dilanyan, upon returning from a recess. Earlier, on Wednesday, Judge Hrayr Tovmasyan stated that the President should clarify under what circumstances he decided to schedule the elections for June 20, a date previously announced by the Prime Minister.
This motion faced opposition from Judge Vahe Grigoryan. Today, Tovmasyan resubmitted the request with a different justification.
