We Live in the Abovyan Boarding School, But We Understand That One Day We Will Be Removed from There: A Woman from Kashatagh
We live in the Abovyan boarding school, we are from the Kashatagh region, our village has been handed over to the Turks. This was stated by one of the residents of Kashatagh during a conversation with journalists in front of the Government building, where they are currently holding a protest.
“We are satisfied with the director there, but that is also not permanent; a time will come when we will be removed from there too. We have been living there for 7 months already,” she said.
When asked by the journalist what the citizens’ request to the government is, she replied, “We have lived in the Kashatagh region for 28 years. We left Armenia, had a farm, a house, but now I have nothing. My age doesn’t allow me to go to Artsakh and start anything from there; I don’t have the ability to start from zero. I just want to feel safe,” she expressed.
