Those Transferred from Artsakh to Armenia to Receive 68,000 Dram from the Red Cross in July

Due to the escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, 14,000 individuals relocated to Armenia in the autumn of 2020 will receive a one-time payment of 68,000 AMD (a total of 952 million AMD) from the Armenian Red Cross Society during July.

Joining the Armenian Government's program for monetary assistance due to the escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Armenian Red Cross Society is providing support in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

To be included in the program, displaced individuals have pre-registered by filling out the appropriate application on the website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia (www.dimum.ssa.am).

Since joining the Armenian Government's cash assistance programs, the Armenian Red Cross Society has provided a total of 1,718,523,000 AMD from November 2020 to June 2021, assisting 38,444 individuals. The funds have been directed towards ensuring the accessibility of basic needs for the displaced and supporting them and their host families.
