Second Phase of Unified Examinations Completed: Results Published by the Assessment and Testing Center

The second phase of the unified examinations concluded on July 8. The Assessment and Testing Center has published the results for several subjects from this phase.

For the subject of 'Biology,' out of 113 registered candidates, 101 participated in the examination. The average score was 9.54. 41 candidates, or 40.6%, did not meet the threshold for a passing score. 10 candidates, or 9.9%, scored between 18-20 points, including 8 candidates scoring between 18-18.75 points and 2 candidates scoring between 19-19.75 points.

In the subject of 'History of Armenia,' out of 54 registered candidates, 50 took part in the examination. The average score was 12.37. 13 candidates, or 26%, failed to achieve a passing score. 17 candidates, or 34%, scored between 18-20 points, which includes 5 candidates scoring between 18-18.75 points, 7 candidates scoring between 19-19.75 points, and 5 candidates scoring 20 points.

For the subject of 'Physics,' from 89 registered candidates, 61 participated in the examination. The average score was 6.80. 41 candidates, or 67.2%, did not meet the passing score threshold. 4 candidates, or 6.6%, scored between 18-20 points, with 1 candidate scoring between 18-18.75 points and 3 candidates scoring between 19-19.75 points.

Only 2 candidates took the examination for the subject of 'Geography,' achieving an average score of 12.1.

It is noteworthy that for the second phase registration, a single examination center operated across the republic, located at Yerevan School No. 189. Only for the subject of 'Mathematics' were two examination centers designated, with the exam also held at Yerevan School No. 200.

Furthermore, the Republican Admission Committee will confirm the main competition results by July 18. Following the confirmation of the main phase competition results, if there are vacant spots at universities, candidates who scored positively in the admission examinations, but were not awarded a spot, can participate from July 19-26 in an additional competition for vacant spots by submitting an application online. The additional competition allows registration in one or more universities for up to six specialties, provided that the candidate has a positive evaluation in the subjects of those specialties and there are available spots (both free and paid) in those fields.
