Kajaran Mayor Manvel Paramazyan Arrested

Manvel Paramazyan, the mayor of Kajaran in the Syunik province, has been arrested and is currently being held in the NSS isolation unit. This was reported to 24News by Robert Hayrapetyan, a member of the 'Hayastan' alliance and a human rights advocate.

It is presumed that Paramazyan holds a suspect status.

Recall that on July 8, NSS officers conducted a search at the mayor's residence and vehicle, after which he was taken into custody.
