Discussion on Election Results Commences at Constitutional Court
The Constitutional Court is examining the appeal of the 'Armenia' alliance, the 'Honorary Right' alliance, the 'Awakening' party, and the 'Homeland of Armenians' party, demanding the invalidation of the CEC's June 27 decision.
All nine judges of the Constitutional Court are present at the session. The CEC, the Prosecutor's Office, the police, and the RPA act as the responding parties. The 'Civil Contract' party is the third party involved.
As previously reported, the 'Armenia' alliance disputes the constitutionality and legality of the decision following the elections, as well as the existing factual circumstances. The statement is quite extensive, containing written and video materials. The analysis is based on the results from 109 polling stations and pertains to approximately 88,000 votes, of which there are no signatures for about 4,000. Representatives of the alliance have found records with identical pages bearing voters' names in 30-40 polling stations.
