Renowned Duduk Player Jivan Gasparyan Passes Away

Renowned Armenian duduk player and composer, People's Artist of the Armenian SSR, Jivan Gasparyan has passed away. This was announced by his grandson, Jivan Gasparyan Jr., on his Facebook page.

“Last night, the world suffered an unimaginable loss. May he rest in peace,” the grandson wrote in English, continuing in Armenian, “I am writing with great sorrow about my enormous loss. May God keep your soul in the bright sky.”
