On July 2, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health received complaints from residents of various addresses in Yerevan's Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district regarding the quality of drinking water.
On the same day, drinking water samples were taken from different addresses in the administrative district for microbiological and sanitary-chemical laboratory studies, including assessment indicators, residual free chlorine, chlorides, nitrites, nitrates, and ammonium ions.
It is noteworthy that drinking water sampling was also conducted on July 3 and 4. As a result of microbiological and sanitary-chemical laboratory studies, no deviations were recorded.
Alongside the drinking water sampling activities, yard visits were also conducted. No individuals presenting symptoms characteristic of intestinal infections were identified among the residents.
