Rescuers Recover Citizen's Body

On July 5, at 06:10, a special operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a rescue team were dispatched to the scene to resume search operations. A combat unit from the firefighting and rescue squad and the water rescue team from the special operations center also participated.

At 10:02, rescuers recovered the body of G. T. (born 1991) from the water. It is worth noting that on July 4, at 11:35, the crisis management center of the Syunik region received a call about a drowning incident near a waterfall in the village of Lichk.

Following the alert, a special operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a combat unit from the firefighting and rescue squad, and the water rescue team were sent to the scene. It was confirmed that G. T. had drowned while swimming in a lake known as Heart-shaped. Two individuals who attempted to rescue him, N. M. (born 1991) and N. H. (born 1994), were brought out of the water by local forces. The injured individuals received necessary medical assistance on site.

Search operations were suspended due to darkness.
