6 Months to 4 Years: Names of 14 Armenian Prisoners of War Released in Baku

The trial against 14 Armenian prisoners of war has concluded at the Baku Serious Crimes Court. Following deliberation, the court has announced its verdict.

According to minval.az, the 14 prisoners have been sentenced to imprisonment ranging from six months to four years. Specifically, Hrach Arzumanyan and Gegham Samvel Serobyan received four-year sentences, while the remaining twelve (Armen Baghdasaryan, Gor Gasparyan, Kamo Sefilyan, Volodya Hakobyan, Gevorg Asertian, Sisak Yengoyan, Albert Petrosyan, Romik Sedrakyan, Aram Minasian, Mkrtich Minosyan, Edgar Matesyan, and Yuri Karapetyan) were sentenced to six months in prison.

All were convicted for “illegally crossing the state border of Azerbaijan.” Other charges have been dropped. The judicial process has concluded.
