Russian Peacekeepers Ensure Movement of Azerbaijani Military Convoy
The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out its tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the ceasefire regime at 27 observation points. The ceasefire regime is being maintained along the entire length of the contact line.
“Representatives of the Russian peacekeeping contingent have ensured the movement of a convoy of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces from Mataghis to Kelbajar (Karvachar) and in the opposite direction,” the report from the Russian Ministry of Defense states.
It is noted that engineering-sapper teams continue demining operations in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. Over the past day, 2 hectares of land have been cleared. Since November 23, 2020, a total of 2,154 hectares, 6,573 km of roads, and 1,892 buildings have been cleared of unexploded ordnance, with 25,640 explosive objects discovered and neutralized.
