I Will Not Tell You That Number: Gnel Sanosyan on Azerbaijanis in Gegharkunik Region

There is no change in the border situation in the Gegharkunik region. I will not disclose the number of Azerbaijanis stationed in the region, as there is no necessity to publish that number. This was stated by Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan during a conversation with journalists, addressing the question of how many Azerbaijanis are currently in the Gegharkunik region.

In response to the remark that there are discussions about more than 1,000 Azerbaijanis, Sanosyan noted that various reports have been published in the media.

When asked when the deployment process of Russian peacekeeping forces would begin in the Gegharkunik region, Sanosyan replied, "It is in progress; I cannot specify a date."
