Fire in Khosrov Forest State Reserve

On June 30, at 18:51, the Ararat regional crisis management center received a report that a fire had broken out in the section of the Khosrov State Reserve known as "Jghngyol." This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Five firefighting teams, two operational groups, and a rescue group from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Rescue Service's administration were dispatched to the scene.

A total of 81 rescuers, along with 40 employees from the Khosrov Forest State Reserve, participated in the firefighting efforts.

Approximately 7000 square meters of grass cover, peat layers, and juniper trees are burning.

Present at the scene are the director of the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Rescue Service, Colonel Armen Gasparyan, and the deputy director, Colonel Hovhannes Yemishyan.
