Alain Delon Plans to Return to the Big Screen

Famed French actor Alain Delon has announced his intention to return to the big screen. He made the statement in an interview with France 5 television.

“I hope to return to the screen again. It may be my last film. And it has to be wonderful,” said the actor.

Delon added that he would like to work with “a renowned director, for example, Lisa Azuelos.”

“After that, I will be able to leave; I will have nothing else to do,” emphasized the actor.

In May 2019, Delon received the honorary Golden Palm Award at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival. His daughter, Anouchka, reported that he suffered a stroke in June of that year and subsequently received treatment in Switzerland.

The 85-year-old actor has appeared in more than 90 films. Some of his notable works include “The Yellow Sun,” “Rocco and His Brothers,” and “The Swimming Pool.”
