Urgent Call from Khankendi Page for Artsakh Residents to Send Questions via WhatsApp

The National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh, in pursuit of its functions and powers in the field of information security as mandated by legislation, considers it necessary to inform the public about recent attempts by Azerbaijan to create panic and a climate of fear among the citizens of the Republic of Artsakh through phone calls and social media posts.

This was reported by the Artsakh NSS. Specifically, on June 29, a statement was posted on the Facebook page of “Xankəndi / Khankendi / Խանքենդի,” calling on the residents of the Republic of Artsakh to send questions to their specified phone number via the “WhatsApp” mobile application.

This situation once again confirms that the Azerbaijani side is attempting to incite panic among the Armenian public through fake and cheap propaganda. The Artsakh National Security Service urges citizens not to fall for Azerbaijani propaganda, to remain vigilant on social networks, and to refrain from sharing and discussing such propagandistic materials. Individuals who find themselves in such situations are requested, in their own interest, to immediately contact the NSS of Artsakh.
