Nazarbayev Reveals Who Helped Him Recover from Coronavirus
The first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has informed Russian President Vladimir Putin that a team of Russian doctors saved him from coronavirus. According to Armenpress, this was reported by RIA Novosti.
"I sincerely want to thank the Russian side for the support provided to Kazakhstan during the pandemic... I will never forget that when I fell ill, I had a team of Russian doctors by my side for 10 days. They played a decisive role in my treatment. This will not be forgotten," Nazarbayev said prior to negotiations with Putin in Moscow.
Nazarbayev was diagnosed with coronavirus on June 18, 2020, and he had recovered by July 2. In June 2021, he was vaccinated against coronavirus with the Sputnik V vaccine.
