During Nikol Pashinyan's three years in office, five directors of the National Security Service (NSS) have changed. Following the snap elections, discussions have intensified regarding whether the NSS director will change again.

According to information from the 'Pats' newspaper, in the coming days, NSS Director Colonel Armen Abazyan will be awarded the rank of Major General. Taking this into account, there is confidence within the agency that he will continue to serve as the NSS director.
