Vagharshak Harutyunyan Visits Erebuni Airport

The Acting Minister of Defense of Armenia, Vagharshak Harutyunyan, has visited Erebuni Airport. This information is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

“The Head of the Aviation Administration of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Colonel Gagik Aslanyan, and the Commander of the Russian Military Base, Colonel Alexander Petrov, presented the aviation assets available at the military base and their technical specifications,” the statement reads.

The head of the defense department familiarized himself with the capabilities of military aircraft from the pilot’s cockpit. Certain samples of military aircraft armaments were also presented to Vagharshak Harutyunyan.

“The war is not only fought by the army, but by the entire state,” said Vagharshak Harutyunyan.

During the visit, the current state of cooperation between the military aviation forces of the two countries, the progress of joint combat duty, and upcoming plans were discussed.
