Details on the Major Car Accident in Kotayk Province
The Road Police's 2nd Officer Battalion, 3rd Company senior investigator Avetik Avetisyan is preparing materials regarding the major car accident that occurred on June 25 in Kotayk Province. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, on that day at around 18:25, in the central street of Zovuni village, in front of a monument, 31-year-old Arthur Oseyan, a resident of Kanakeravan village, crashed his Mercedes vehicle into a parked GAZelle truck owned by 42-year-old Karen Sargsyan from Yerevan.
Initial reports indicate that fortunately there were no injuries resulting from the accident. Officers from the 1st platoon of the 3rd company of the Road Police arrived at the scene, led by platoon commander Tigran Kotanjyan. Following the collision, gas cylinders from the GAZelle were dislodged and thrown, but fortunately did not explode.
