Residents of Armavir demanding irrigation water staged a protest today on the Yerevan-Armavir highway, leading to a complete blockage of the road and leaving over a hundred vehicles trapped in traffic.
During the protest, a dispute and scuffle broke out between the demonstrators and the police overseeing the rally. However, law enforcement managed to disperse the protest and reopen the road.
