Temperatures Expected to Reach +39…+41 Degrees During Daytime
Due to the influx of tropical warm air currents from the Arabian deserts, a significant rise in temperatures is anticipated across the entire country from June 25 to 28. In the Ararat Valley and its foothills, the foothills of Vayots Dzor, the valley areas of Syunik, and Yerevan, daytime temperatures are expected to reach +39…+41 degrees Celsius.
From June 25 to 30, a high-risk fire situation is also predicted in these areas. The intensity of ultraviolet radiation is expected to be above normal. It is advised to avoid direct sunlight from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Throughout the republic, dry weather is expected on June 25, with no precipitation from June 26 to 27. On June 28-30, isolated areas may experience brief rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 m/s. In the Ararat Valley and its foothills, an increase in winds to 15-20 m/s is expected in the evening hours. The air temperature is gradually expected to decrease by 5-6 degrees during the daytime on June 29-30.
In Yerevan, dry weather is predicted for the daytime on June 25, and from June 26 to 28. Brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of the city during the evening hours of June 29-30, accompanied by winds gusting to 15-20 m/s.
