The Governor's Office of Lori Assaults the Mayor of Odzun: Extortion Begins

The "Armenia" bloc records the beginning of political repression in the country. Just yesterday, interim Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke about extending a hand of solidarity, yet today, we have received numerous alerts from all communities where the mayors aligned with the "Armenia" bloc participated in the parliamentary snap elections.

In all these communities, mayors are being pressured with threats to resign voluntarily. Just hours ago, such a demand was made to Arsen Titanian, the mayor of Odzun, at the Lori regional governor's office, and when he refused to comply with the governor's demands, he was assaulted right in the office building.

The "Armenia" bloc strongly condemns the act and will take all measures to ensure that those responsible are punished to the fullest extent of the law. If the authorities do not cease this behavior, it will pave the way for a new political crisis.
