Recount to Take Place at Over 70 Polling Stations

On June 20, 2021, a recount of the voting results from the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Armenia can be requested until June 22 at 11:00 AM by submitting applications to the relevant territorial election commission. This information has been reported by the Central Election Commission of Armenia.

During the established period, applications for recounts have been submitted concerning the voting results of 27 polling stations, of which only 3 applications were submitted by authorized entities. Nonetheless, the relevant territorial election commissions will also carry out recounts at the remaining 24 polling stations.

Starting from 10:00 AM on June 23, recounting activities will continue in the territorial election commissions No. 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 17, 23, 24, 25, 31, 33, 34, and 35, covering a total of over 70 polling stations.

No applications have been received by the territorial election commissions regarding invalidating the voting results of the polling stations.
