“I just heard they are spreading false news online that I have fled to America. I honestly do not understand why I would flee and particularly to America. If they said that Yerevan City Council member Hovhannes Igityan from 'My Step' has gone to Paris, that would be logical.

As for those who are fleeing, I hope we will see them in a few hours. Do not even think that we are leaving our country for you to make a 'prahadnoi dvorets' for the Turks.”
