Iron Safe Opened with a Saw at a Yerevan Polling Station, Says Sahakyan

At the Yerevan polling station 9/60, located in the Chekhov school, an unforeseen incident occurred today. Members of the electoral commission were unable to open the fireproof safe for several minutes to retrieve the ballots. The information was reported by Ara Sahakyan, a member of the "I Have Honor" alliance and a former ambassador to Kazakhstan.

He wrote on his Facebook page that the iron safe was eventually opened with an electric saw. Voting started with a 12-minute delay.

Recall that the voting for Armenia's extraordinary parliamentary elections began this morning at 08:00. A total of 2.578 million citizens have the right to participate in the elections (of which over 855,000 are in the capital).
