As of 14:00, 26.82% of Voters Participated in the Elections
As of 14:00, 695,626 citizens or 26.82% of voters have participated in the snap parliamentary elections in Armenia. This was announced by Silva Markosyan, a member of the Central Electoral Commission, during a press conference.
For comparison, during the 2018 snap parliamentary elections, voter turnout at 14:00 was 636,055 citizens, or 24.53%.
The voting for the snap parliamentary elections in the Republic of Armenia started at 08:00 and will close at 20:00. A total of 25 political forces are participating in the elections, including 21 parties and 4 alliances. As of 09:00, there are 2,593,572 voters registered in the electoral lists.
To facilitate the voting process, 2,008 polling stations have been established.
