Putin on Biden: Media Portrayal Has Nothing in Common with Reality

Russian President Vladimir Putin has shared his impressions following the meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden, which took place on June 16 in Geneva.

The head of state described Biden as a professional and noted that the portrayal of him in the media bears no resemblance to reality. “The character of President Biden, as presented by our and American media, has nothing in common with reality. He has come a long way, changing time zones. We communicated for two hours. He is completely engaged, and the image presented of him may be somewhat discouraging. But there is no need to be discouraged. Biden is a professional, and one must work very carefully with him to avoid missing anything. He himself misses nothing,” the head of the state stated, emphasizing that Biden is “composed, understands what he wants to achieve, and does so skillfully.”
