Which Party Will Be the Surprise of the Elections?

According to the newspaper ‘Zhoghovurd’, since at least the moment of the election announcement, specialists from a reputable Russian company have been conducting political surveys in Armenia at the behest of pro-Kremlin circles. This information is not published and serves primarily as an internal document. However, we have learned of some preliminary observations:

Firstly, to the surprise of Russian experts, a third of respondents have not made up their minds or are avoiding giving clear answers even one week before the elections, complicating the prediction of electoral outcomes and increasing the likelihood of surprises.

Another trend noted by the Russian specialists is that the two leading candidates, in the final stretch of the race, are mobilizing not only their voter bases but also the electorates of parties considered their allies. As a result, the third and only transitional party could become ‘Lusavor Hayastan’, which may achieve quite an impressive result despite not being a direct satellite of the two leaders.

According to these studies, when analyzing the demographic characteristics of potential voters for ‘Lusavor Hayastan’, it is clear that the rating boost is coming from the group of respondents aged 18-35. They cite the establishment of an atmosphere of peace and solidarity after the elections as the main reason for their choice, a promise mainly made by this party.

There is also a slight increase in other age groups (35-50, 50 and older), although not as significant as in the aforementioned age group. In layman's terms, the themes of internal solidarity, seriousness, and responsibility articulated by Edmon Marukyan and his team during their campaigns and public speeches significantly boosted the rating of this party as of last weekend.
