VIDEO: ‘We need to sign a new document with Russia’ - Gagik Tsarukyan

‘We need to restore our ties, our relationships with Russia. We need to sign a new document — a military-political one,’ stated Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, in an interview with H1.

In response to host Petros Ghazaryan's question about the existing mutual agreement with Russia and the CSTO, Tsarukyan said, ‘We should sign a new document because the situation has changed. Yesterday, Erdogan and Aliyev mentioned the consul in Shushi, on our land, and signed a document stating that Turkey will support Azerbaijan. This has never happened before — in the event of any war, they will stand next to them and protect Azerbaijan.’

When Ghazaryan asked if there is already a similar agreement with Russia, the Prosperous Armenia leader reiterated his stance, insisting that there is none.
