VIDEO: 'They are trafficking people by committing crimes' - RA Human Rights Defender
The Human Rights Defender of Armenia has issued a statement: 'Irrefutable evidence that the Azerbaijani authorities are 1) unlawfully holding all Armenian captives as hostages for political bargaining. 2) engaging in human trafficking and committing crimes. 3) continuously misleading the international community by claiming that the captives are terrorists or saboteurs. 4) organizing fake criminal trials against the captives.'
Discussions between the Presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan regarding the illegal detention of Armenian captives in Azerbaijan in exchange for minefield maps have emerged.
The office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia has translated the video into Russian and English and analyzed it. The video will be sent to specialized bodies of the UN, OSCE, Council of Europe, and other international organizations through the official letter of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia.
