Gagik Tsarukyan: 'It Is Excluded That Prosperous Armenia Will Distribute Bribes'
Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, stated in an interview that if the atmosphere in the country does not improve and the relationship between the government and opposition is not regulated, nothing will be normal regardless of the connections one has. In response to a question from H1 host Petros Ghazaryan about whether he sees a real situation after the elections that won't escalate, leading to civil strife or conflicts, Tsarukyan said, 'I see everything three to six months ago... Today, we should not divide our people into blacks and whites. We are one nation; everyone has their peer, but today we should think deeply because we are going to lose part of Armenia, not foster enmity or revenge against one another.'
Commenting on the host's next question regarding the arrest of his candidate for bribery and ongoing discussions about vote-buying, Tsarukyan said, 'Bribery cannot happen; that is excluded. Everything will show in time. Today, law enforcement agencies are conducting investigations; it is excluded that Prosperous Armenia will distribute bribes. The time will come, and everything will be clarified,' Tsarukyan added.
