Immediately after this meeting, I will go live to participate in the parliamentary snap election debate and I hope to see there those who have been the most active in boasting about us, those who spin the yathagan. Come and stand before the people live and let’s show who is who, where they come from, and where they are going. This was stated today, June 17, in Republic Square during a rally organized by the ‘Civil Contract’ party by the party's prime ministerial candidate, Nikol Pashinyan.

“During these ten days of the pre-election campaign, we traveled to every corner of our Republic. We visited all regions; we had short and long, planned and unplanned meetings in 75 communities across all regions, including the capital Yerevan, and communicated with tens of thousands of our citizens. The pre-election campaign is usually viewed as a tiresome race that begins with enthusiasm and ends in exhaustion. However, this campaign had a completely opposite logic for us. The last 8 months were a hellish journey for us. We entered the pre-election campaign exhausted from the war, scarred by an endless series of curses and insults, threats and boasts, conspiracies and betrayals. In this situation, we came out of the campaign and turned to the people of the Republic of Armenia, and the people accepted us like relatives returning from exile or captivity. Thousands of mothers cared for us like a beloved mother, thousands of fathers gave us strength like a beloved father, thousands of sisters gave us wings like a beloved sister, thousands of brothers supported us like a beloved brother, and thousands of children gave us joy and happiness like beloved children. The people of Armenia gave us courage and strength, confidence and love, and empowered us to continue leading the Republic of Armenia; now it remains to de facto record this fact de jure by going to the polls this upcoming Sunday, June 20, 2021, taking ballot number 3 without making any markings with a pen, putting it in the envelope, and in general, not using a pen at all. It’s important to ensure that the envelope with the ballot is dropped in the ballot box and to record that there is a future in the Republic of Armenia,” said Pashinyan.

He stated that it is already time to talk about the key outlines of the future, to formulate what future they are planning. “Our ideas about the future are based on four pillars. The first pillar is security, the second pillar is the economy, the third pillar is the law and justice, and the fourth pillar is the development of human capital. This enumeration is purely conditional, because in our opinion, they are interconnected vessels in the vital functions of our state organism, and the disruption of one of them leads to a shock to the entire organism; therefore, they are equally important. Economic development brings new budgetary revenues, which allows for more investment in the field of security. Ensuring security allows for a greater focus on the developmental issues of human capital. The development of human capital allows for a higher level and standards of law and justice. Higher standards of law and justice create new opportunities for economic development. The internal connections of these four pillars are numerous and varied. This is why we do not consider any of the directions in isolation from the others, just as no vital organ of a human organism can be isolated or separated from the others. Our strategic vision regarding the economy is as follows: it must be knowledge-based, starting from agriculture, continuing with exports and trade, and it must rely on existing knowledge, skills, and expertise, as well as new knowledge that has emerged and is to come,” he added.
