The Entire World Will Force Us: Ter-Petrosyan on Recognizing Stepanakert as Part of Azerbaijan

"Aliyev says, 'recognize Artsakh as part of us, we’ll sign a friendship and peace agreement, do we agree?'" asked the host Petros Ghazaryan during an interview with the first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, on H1.

"They will force us to agree, the entire world will force us, this is the law of the world. The principle of territorial integrity of all states is the essence of the existence of the UN. Great powers can afford to violate these laws. We have seen, we have seen a lot, for example, in Iraq, where they go in and do whatever they want. But from the small states, when Saddam went to invade Kuwait, they destroyed all of Iraq, even the Arab countries joined that Western coalition and obliterated the Iraqi state. What are we living with? I don’t understand," he added.
