Armenia Registers the Largest Positive Change in the World, Says Kerobyan

The Acting Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, made a post on his Facebook page, which we present below.

“The most reliable index of corruption levels in different countries is the Transparency International Corruption Perception Index (CPI). Thus, in 1999, Armenia was ranked 80th in the world according to this indicator, in 2008 – 109th, in 2018 – 105th, and in 2020 – 60th. Moreover, it is the country that recorded the largest positive change in the world from 2019 to 2020. As a result of good governance, previously, economic growth was supported by building palaces, whereas now, it is achieved through schools and kindergartens.”
