Which of Nikol Pashinyan's Posts Disrupted Diana Gasaryan? ‘Zhoghovurd’

‘Zhoghovurd’ newspaper reports: Recently, a scandalous audio recording was released in which the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Suren Papikyan, is convincing the Mayor of Ejmiadzin, Diana Gasparyan, not to submit her resignation and not to leave her position. In response, Gasparyan declares that the acting Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, should resign and step down.

Well-informed sources from ArmLur.am inform that last night, the audio recording of Papikyan and Gasparyan was intensely discussed within the ‘Civil Contract’ party, and everyone was trying to clarify when that conversation had taken place. We found out that Diana Gasparyan called Papikyan on November 16, 2020, at a time when Pashinyan had made the following post on his Facebook page: “Today, I watched dozens of videos of soldiers at the front line. I am amazed by the depth of understanding of the guys. Guys, you are right. I am waiting for you in Yerevan to finally resolve the issues of those whining behind the walls.”

According to ArmLur.am’s information, after all this, a real mutiny was brewing within the team, as everyone began writing resignation letters, which Papikyan attempted to put a stop to. He told almost everyone to calm down until they had a chance to speak with Pashinyan. It turns out that when they informed Pashinyan that his team was writing resignation letters, he made a second post explaining why he had made such a statement:

“Today I clearly announced that despite the manipulations, violence or incitement to violence (especially armed) has no place in the government’s arsenal. I urge, ask, and demand that none of our statements, gestures, or calls be viewed in this context. If any of what we said gives such an impression, that is a wrong impression. I now expect the opposition to clearly announce that it excludes any violent activities, incitement to violence (including armed) during its future activities. This will finally close the growing tension that has been ongoing for days.”

And yesterday, when the recording was already published, everyone in the team declared that at that time, it was not only Diana Gasparyan who held that opinion but rather a large majority of the team.
