«Let’s look to the future – is there an ally in the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue?» In response to the question posed by the host in the H1 studio, the leader of the Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan stated, «There is no ally, know that it has never been».

When asked about the future of Nagorno-Karabakh, he reacted, «I said it’s very difficult now. Back then we had something to compromise on, now we have nothing, we have lost the opportunity to concede anything that Azerbaijan would at least agree to maintain a certain status quo for solving the status in the future. We have lost the opportunity to concede».

«Who said we were giving Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan, giving away lands? There was never such a thing. We talked about compromise. Today the situation would be completely different; the Karabakh issue could have truly become an internationally discussable issue at the UN level. I said – Armenia has no decisive voice on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue now», concluded Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
