Defeated Forces Acknowledge Impending Crushing Defeat in Elections; Civil Contract Rally Scheduled for June 17

We have discussed and decided that the "Civil Contract" party will hold a nationwide rally and march on June 17 at 20:00 in Republic Square. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a meeting with residents in Sisian.

"We are doing this specifically because the defeated forces, who already realize that they are going to face a crushing defeat in the elections, want to fall under the police's truncheons to later cast doubt on the legitimacy of the elections," he said.

It is noteworthy that a rally of the "Armenia" alliance is scheduled for June 18, which was announced earlier. However, according to a decision by the city hall, it is supposed to conclude by 20:00, coinciding with the start of the rally for the "Civil Contract" party. The "Armenia" alliance has described this as a provocation by the authorities.
