Fire Spreads from Grassland, Burning Wheat Field

On June 13, the alert center of the Martuni regional Emergency Situations Department received information about a fire breaking out in the territory of the Gishi community in the Martuni region. According to preliminary data, a dry grassland is burning. This is reported by the Artsakh Emergency Situations Service.

In order to provide assistance and conduct firefighting operations, a fire truck from the Martuni Fire Rescue Service has been dispatched to the scene with a combat crew.

It was found that the fire spread from the dry grassland and partially burned the wheat field belonging to resident A.K. of the Gishi community in the Martuni region. The extent of the damage is being assessed.

The state fire and technical safety inspection of the service is conducting an investigation into the incident.
